SAIIE is a study abroad program founded in 1984, and it currently host the study abroad program for the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in Seville, Spain.
SAIIE is a family business, the 3 directors (Samantha, Stuart & Sean), were born and raised in Seville, Spain but have all studied college in the US, lived abroad, and travelled the world. They are all fanatics of sports and have practice all their life being "fútbol" their favourite sport.
What can we offer?
- 1-3 week soccer camps for mens, womens or both teams.Friendly matches against other Spanish soccer teams in the city. / Minimum of 2 matches per week. / Also depending on schedule organized match agains one of the youth teams of the professional soccer teams of the city (Sevill FC or Real Betis Balompie)
- Access to training grounds to practise (twice per week)
- Gym facilities throughout your stay.
- Access to a swimming pool (outdoor during the summer months and indoor during the rest of the year)
- Visits to go watch the two professional soccer teams (mens & womens) of the city (Sevilla FC / Real Betis Balompié) that compete in “La Liga” play (depending on time of the season).
- Visit to both soccer stadiums to go watch practice of mens & womens first team (depending on time of the season) / visit the stadiums with tour as well
- Day or weekend trip to the beach to Cadiz and watch their team play. (In 2024, they currently compete in 2º División)
- Housing with Spanish family with all meals (except from Friday dinner until Sunday lunch).
- Cultural program (visits of cultural and historic value). Ex. Cathedral of Seville, Old Jewish Quarter, Alcazar, Plaza España, etc
