PROGRAM OVERVIEW

SAIIE
Art, Business, Management & Spanish Language program.

Program focus
Choose from a selection of courses in Art, Business, Spanish, and other academic fields, taught in English and Spanish during an intensive 4-week Winterim session in Seville, Spain.

Language Requirement
No prior knowledge of Spanish required (Spanish-taught courses need 5 semester college-level Spanish except Spanish language courses).
PROGRAM DETAILS
Study in Seville during Winterim while earning 3 U.S. semester credits. Students enroll in one course taught at the SAIIE Study Center, combining academic learning with the cultural experience of living in Spain.

To participate in the Winterim Program, students must meet the following requirements.
General Requirements
- Sophomore standing or higher by the start of the program
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale)
- Good academic standing at the time of participation
Spanish Language Requirement
- No prior Spanish is required for courses taught in English.
- Courses taught in Spanish require the equivalent of five university semesters of Spanish.

The University of Wisconsin–La Crosse (UWL) serves as SAIIE’s official School of Record, awarding U.S. semester credit and issuing official transcripts for approved SAIIE coursework.

Language Exchange (Intercambio)
Practice your Spanish and meet local university students through SAIIE’s Intercambio Program.
