Program Requirements
- Completed at least one full-time semester of college
- Sophomore standing or higher by the start of the program
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 2.5
- Must be in good academic standing
- Enroll in 12–18 U.S. semester credits (3 credits per course)
Spanish Language Requirements
- No prior Spanish is required for most courses.
- Courses taught in Spanish at SAIIE or the University of Seville (excluding Spanish language courses) require the equivalent of 5 university semesters of Spanish.
- Courses taught in Spanish at EUSA University require an advanced level of Spanish (approximately 6 university semesters).
- Internships are available in English or Spanish. Spanish-language internships require the equivalent of five university semesters of Spanish.
Course Requirements
All Students
Complete ART 301: World Art (taught in English) or SPA 354: Artistic Expression and Society in the Spanish-Speaking World (taught in Spanish).
University of Seville Track
- Enroll in at least two courses at the University of Seville, taught in either English or Spanish.
EUSA University Track
- Enroll in two or three courses from the EUSA catalog.
- Students taking only two EUSA courses must also enroll in a course at SAIIE.
EUSA Internship Track
- Enroll in one or two EUSA courses, depending on whether the internship is 3 or 6 credits.
- Complete at least one SAIIE course, taught in English or Spanish.
Psychology Track
- Enroll in a minimum of two Psychology courses from the courses offered.
- Students taking only two Psychology courses must enroll in courses at the SAIIE Center.
Exercise & Sport Science Track
- Enroll in a minimum of two Exercise & Sport Science (ESS) courses from the courses offered.
