On top of all that they visited a Flamenco Show, and had a weekend trip to Granada!

It’s not hard to see that they are all enjoying themselves! They have survived the first half, but can they finish on a high?

¡Enhorabuena to our Spring Soccer students!

Wyatt and Cesar from UW-Platteville both found the back of the net in their first friendly match with their Spanish club team!

It’s a great start to their experience in Spain, combining high-level training and competition with the opportunity to be part of the local soccer community.

Congratulations, Wyatt and Cesar!

Wyattcesar

¡Enhorabuena to our Spring Soccer students!

Both Wyatt and Cesar from UW-Platteville scored goals in their first friendly match with their Spanish club team!

Wyatt opened the scoring after going one-on-one with the goalkeeper and coming out on top — Wyatt 1, goalkeeper 0!

Cesar then stepped up to take a penalty and calmly converted under pressure to score the second goal.

It was a game of blood, sweat, and tears, with plenty of action throughout. After an exciting match, the final score was…

DRAW — 3–3!

Well done to Wyatt and Cesar, and to all their Spanish teammates who put in a fantastic performance!

We’re already looking forward to the second friendly match and hoping the team can take another step forward and come away with the win next time!
