Intern Abroad




SAIIE has reached a partnership with the EUSA Spanish private university center, which is affiliated to the University of Sevilla, to offer an internship program to its students studying abroad at SAIIE in Seville.

All internship opportunities at EUSA are designed according to ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) regulations for internship practice as part of official degrees.

  • Insurance and Visa Support
  • Farewell Event
  • Individual Tutoring and Supervision:
               Company Visit
               Regular One-on-one Tutoring Sessions
               Regular Professional Supervisor Support
               Academic Guidance
               Academic Evaluation Report
               Specific partner supervision & follow-up requirement
               EUSA Certificate of Completion

Program Characteristics:

  • Location: Seville or other
  • Program Length: minimum of 4 weeks of internship
  • Work Week: 20-40 hours per week
  • Salary: Unpaid
  • Languages: Recommended minimum B1 in Spanish or English*

*Students who speak little or no Spanish may find it difficult to secure an internship. 



EUSA is part of the Campus of the Chamber of Commerce of Seville, their connections with national and international companies are exceptionally wide-ranging.

Students can choose internships in the following areas:

  • Commerce
  • Sports

  • Hotel Management.



Most of the internships are available as a credit option through EUSA. Interested students must make sure that their home institution grants credit for their chosen internship. EUSA Accreditation: EUSA is affiliated with University of Seville and, hence, EUSA degrees and courses are in alignment with the Spanish Ministry of Education and European Higher Education Area requisites. EUSA faculty is accredited and habilitated to teach at the Higher Education level through University of Seville’s Venia Docendi.

Please note:
students will be responsible to provide the requirements of the internship they want to take part in for credit transferability at their home institutions. Each student is responsible for working with SAIIE and their home institution to ensure that their credits will transfer.             

All the internships are available as a non-credit option, as an opportunity to explore and gain experience in a specific field, to improve your linguistic skills, and to interact with Spanish people. At the end of the semester/year, interns receive a certificate issued by the sponsoring institution or business.              

Transcript & Certification        
EUSA will issue an EUSA Transcript, as well as a Certification of Completion.

Please note: 
Internships are worth 1 EUSA credit.       



Program Dates

Internships are offered throughout the year, starting every Monday from:

  • 1 Month (4 Weeks)
  • 2 Month to a year

Program Cost

$1175 for students taking a minimum of two courses at EUSA (This is an additional cost to the overall program cost. Tuition and fees still apply) – 1 month

$1675 for SAIIE students not taking courses at EUSA (This is an additional cost to the overall program cost. Tuition and fees still apply) – 1 month

Please note: $200 for every additional month.

Program Prerequisites


  • Must be taking classes at SAIIE
  • Must go through an interview process, placement test, follow through with EUSA
  • Must have Medical insurance and Civil Responsibility Insurance
  • Must have 5 semester of Spanish.

Please note: Internships where they require only English speaking might be available  but depends on company and applicant


In addition to medical insurance which is included for all students studying at the SAIIE study abroad program, EUSA requires all interns to add a Civil Responsibility Insurance to cover any possible situations at the work-place.

This type of insurance needs to be approved by both the internship company and EUSA.

Participants may opt to obtain the civil responsibility coverage themselves or through EUSA at an additional price.         

Please note:
EUSA will charge a minimum of 150.00 EUR for Civil Responsibility (These prices cover the standard 4-week period, additional fees will apply for additional months).
