You’re back home and now you have time to think about your study abroad experience in Seville, all the wonderful places you visited, things you did, and the local people you met.

Send us your photos, stories, and videos! Many of these we will use on our website, social media, brochures, and catalogs to show prospective students what studying abroad can do for them.

Photos
Send us photos from your semester abroad with us... local places you found so fascinating that you’ve never seen back home... photos of your Spanish families... friends you made here in Sevilla... photos from the many cultural immersion activities SAIIE offers (field trips, internships, volunteering activities, etc.) - we’d love to see them!

Stories
What stories are we looking for? We want to hear about your time in Sevilla: What did you discover? How did it change you and your perspective on life? Any funny or interesting adventures from your time abroad with us: we want to know! Add a picture with your story if you think it helps or will complement your story!

Videos
If you have a video of your study abroad experience with SAIIE, we’d love you to share it with us! It can be any length and on any aspect of the program: classes, trips, housing, Spanish friends…

All photos, stories and videos should be sent to the following email address: seanrc@saiie.com

Please be aware that any story, photos or videos you send us may be used for promotional or commercial purposes.

We believe the best people to talk about SAIIE and Seville to prospective students are our own SAIIE alumni! Who better to judge our program, the city, the housing, etc… than an international student who has experienced it with us firsthand? This scheme allows SAIIE alumni to relive their experience abroad and show it back to their home campus and prospective students looking for a study abroad program.

Who can do this?

  • Students who have studied a term at SAIIE in Seville, Spain.
  • Students who are still studying at their home campus in the US after studying at SAIIE

How can you do this?

  • Represent SAIIE at the annual Study Abroad Fair at your university
  • Give a short classroom presentation of SAIIE as a PowerPoint created by you OR present a video created by SAIIE
  • Hand out brochures during the Study Abroad Fair and your classroom presentation
  • Share your personal experience at SAIIE (Submit photos or stories on our Facebook page, etc)
  • Helping an SAIIE representative on a visit to your home campus.
  • Follow up with student inquiries and questions via email or phone.
  • SAIIE will provide you with the needed materials to be successful.

What will you gain?

  • Work experience in the field of international education.
  • Reference letter and recommendation from SAIIE.

Be creative! Think of different and creative ways to show your experience abroad to your friends and teachers back home!

If you are an SAIIE alumni and would like to become an SAIIE student ambassador, please contact the Program Manager, Sean Chipres, for more information at: seanrc@saiie.com.

On completion of your SAIIE program, the UW-Platteville Education Abroad office will do the following:

  • Send a grade report to your permanent home address
  • Ensure an official UW-Platteville transcript is sent to your home institution (exact location as specified by you on the Transcript Release Form in the Acceptance Binder)

Please note: Only one official transcript is provided by the UW-Platteville Education Abroad office. If you would like to request another official UW-Platteville transcript for your time at SAIIE, please visit the UW-Platteville Registrar's Office.
