PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Each student must take between a minimum of 12 credits and a maximum of 18, per semester. Each class consists of 45 class hours, worth 3 credits except SPAN 3100 (Intercambio Activity), worth 1 credit.

All the classes on this program are taught in Spanish, in high intermediate and advanced levels (General level and Advanced level), for which you require a minimum of 6 university semesters of Spanish study. This requirement is crucial for the correct understanding and participation of the student on the course.

Classes are taught from Monday to Thursday, usually on alternating days (Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday) and 2 hours per session.

It is mandatory that every student takes the ART 3800 class (Artistic Monuments of Seville) and a Spanish language or Spanish literature class of their own choice, however, the student must enroll in at least 3 Advanced Level classes.

Please note: Classes will be taught at two centres; the SAIIE facilities and the University of Seville’s main building. Both centres are located in the historical centre of Seville, approximately 15 minutes away.
