All programs with Universidad de Sevilla and EUSA (la Escuela Universitaria de Sevilla) run in partnership with SAIIE. Classes will take place at both SAIIE and the relevant partner institution. At EUSA, the students will be able to share classes with both Spanish students and students from other European countries, which will help them to achieve an even deeper level of cultural immersion.
SAIIE - UNIVERSIDAD DE SEVILLA
Liberal Arts, Business & Spanish Language & Culture
FALL AND SPRING.This program is designed for students from Begining to Advanced level of Spanish, and for those who want to combine their academic experience with the total cultural immersion through the extra curricular activities offered by our program.
Students in this program will take courses at the SAIIE Center and the University of Seville.
Language Requirement: 0-6 semesters
SAIIE - EUSA
Communication, New Media, Journalism & Tourism
FALL AND SPRING.This program offers students the opportunity to experience international education in two different environments: the SAIIE campus and EUSA (la Escuela Universitaria de Sevilla).
Students at the EUSA Campus will take courses in the following areas:
- Audiovisual Communications: History, Technology, Writing, Culture, Advertising, Publications, Scripting, Film-Making, Spanish for Communications, Media Studies, Art, Cinema, and Business
- Journalism: Creative Writing, Art, Media, Law, Political Science, History, Language, New Reporting, Advertising, Public Relations, Cyber Culture
- Publication: Advertising, Marketing, Social Media, Media Studies, Photography, Sociology, Art, Design, Geography, and Ethics
- Tourism: Operations, Management, Business, Statistics, Law, German for Tourism, French for Tourism, Human Resources, Marketing, Political Science, and Computer Science.
Language Requirement: 0-6 semesters
Internship Program
FALL AND SPRING. SAIIE is proudly partnered with the EUSA University which is affiliated to the University of Sevilla, to offer an internship program for those who are studying abroad with us.
Our students will be completely immersed in a Spanish working environment, which will aid in developing new working skills, cultural intelligence, networking and lastly, improve their Spanish.
Through the internship program students will complete a total of 12 credits in a semester.
Option 1
As part of this program as well, our students who choose the 6 credit Internship, will need to take a Business course at EUSA and a Spanish Language course at SAIIE.
Option 2
For those who choose the 3 credit Internship, will need to take two Business courses at EUSA and a Spanish Language course at SAIIE.
Language Requirement: Must have 5 semesters of Spanish. Internships where they require only English speaking might be available but depends on company and applicant
SAIIE
Intensive Spanish Language
FALL AND SPRING. The Intensive Language Track is designed for students on the beginning and intermediate levels who want to focus solely on the acquisition of Spanish.
Language Requirement: 2-3 years of high-school Spanish or 1 semester college – level Spanish.
Spanish Language, Business & Liberal Arts
SUMMER. This program is designed for all students, independent of their specialties and their level of Spanish. We put a particular emphasis on courses related to Spanish history and culture in its various forms with the aim of helping to improve the students´ level of Spanish, as well as facilitating their cultural immersion and knowledge about a city as multicultural and mixed as Seville.
Language Requirement: No prior knowledge of Spanish required
Artistic Monuments in Seville, Córdoba & Granada
WINTERIM. Through the Artistic Monuments course get to know Andalucia´s diverse culture through the monuments of its three main cities: Seville, Córdoba and Granada.
Language Requirement: No prior knowledge of Spanish required
