Today, we are sending out particular congratulations to SAIIE Spring 2015 alumna Casey Garr, from High Point University, on how far she has come!
Casey always loved science and started her college career solely as a Biology major. She then realised that she was also passionate about art, and decided to pursue this interest in combination with her major.
Now, she has carved her own way to a career that combines both art and science. She is a trailblazer and has found her own niche. At ASCB 2016 she will be presenting her interesting data about how one can combine art and science into a science outreach program to foster the career development of young scientists.
